Food is a very important aspect in Taiwanese culture. It is not only because we inherited the Chinese taste buds, but also because the majority of Taiwanese ancestors came from different provinces of China and they brought various recipes with them (allow me to talk about the history in the future). After people living together in this tiny island “Formosa” for more than fifty years (or more than two hundred years in another point of view), the mixer and recombination of these Chinese recipes, along with our own traditional food as well as Japanese style, South Asian style, and western style food make Taiwan a heaven for the gourmand.

Since I am not in Taiwan now but luckily in Boston, I would like to introduce some good restaurants in Boston area under my food category.

This is my first blog and hopefully I will keep writing. I will try to write both in English and Chinese. Writing in English is a good practice for me and is a better way to communicate with more people.
